Burrsville 7 Before 7!
We want to share with you a video that has been produced as part of the promotion of 11 before 11. Whilst the video may only show what is happening in a handful of our schools, we have seen evidence of the true commitment of our staff across all schools during the pandemic. At Burrsville Infant Academy we ‘create a joy in learning’ by enriching their school experience. We aim to do so by providing them with opportunities and experiences through our REAch2 ‘11 Before 11’ programme which we have adapted to create our special '7 Before 7' Burrsville programme.
Each year group will have the opportunity to take part in 2 or 3 promises each year and if you have started with us in Early Years and stay till Year 2 you will benefit from all 7 Burrsville promise!
As part of our Year 2 promise the children had a 'messing about on the water' day which included making bottle shakers and boats made from recycled materials. They then spent the afternoon testing their boats in the water and having a splash with their friends.
